Working through the Evanston Community Foundation, we collect donations for the Evanston Community Cares Fund, which directly supports trusted community partners already doing essential relief work across our city. Every contribution goes towards helping neighbors who need immediate support.

Your donation is continuously split to ensure these organizations can provide comprehensive Mutual Aid across Evanston, funding everything from grocery assistance & critical crisis support to specialized aid for those lacking in access to essential services or resources.

Comprehensive Mutual Aid

Evanston Latinos

Funds essential services for people without access to traditional support, including responding to job loss, food insecurity, housing instability, medical emergencies, and other critical needs.

Evanston Community Fridges

A mutual aid network rooted in collective community care through access to free food, we organize fridges hosted within our city to feed one another. Ensures immediate, anonymous food resources.

Our mission is to unconditionally support, boldly educate, and collectively strengthen our community. Sustained Family Support

Evanston/Skokie Schools District 65 Mutual Aid

$900,000 is needed to ensure that the school counselors may provide gift card support for emergency food and essentials to approximately 3000 Evanston families which equates to approximately 3600 students in D65 & D202 experiencing food insecurity. Average amount of gift cards $75 each or approx $300 per FRL students families.
